Terms of Service

These terms govern use of GenYak (“the service”), operated by GenYak from Iceland. By creating an account, generating an image, or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms.

The service

GenYak lets you upload a product photo and receive an AI-generated studio version of that item. Output is produced by Google Gemini. Results can contain artifacts. You must review every image before you use it in a listing or sale.

Your photos

You confirm that you have the right to upload each photo (you took it, you own the product, or you have permission). Do not upload pictures of other people, children, illegal goods, or anything you are not allowed to process. You grant GenYak a limited licence to send the photo to our subprocessors solely to generate a studio shot and, if you are signed in, to store the result in your library.

Accounts and plans

Guests receive a limited number of free generations. Paid quotas are monthly and reset with Polar billing. Polar is the merchant of record: they collect payment, handle VAT where required, and issue invoices.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it, resell raw API access, or generate images that violate law or Gemini safety rules. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for marketplace rejections, lost sales, or model mistakes, except where Icelandic law does not allow that limit. If you are a consumer in the EEA you keep your statutory rights.
